To express the sense of the Congress that the President should exercise his authority under existing law and consistent with the 1975 Bilateral Trade Agreement in immediately moving to extend Most Favored Nation trading status, and should seek to offer other such means of indirect economic assistance to Romania as an expression of confidence in the Romanian people and their new government, and to reward, promote, aid and assist the Romanian people in their struggle for independence and freedom.
