Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Correctional Facility Disaster Preparedness Act of 2026''. SEC. 2. DEFINITIONS. In this Act, the term ``major disaster'' means-- (1) a major disaster declared by the President under section 401 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5170); or (…
