Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Disaster Recovery Improvement Act''. SEC. 2. FINDINGS; SENSE OF CONGRESS. (a) Findings.--Congress finds the following: (1) Numerous programs administered by Federal agencies, while not dedicated exclusively to disaster recovery, play a critical role in supporting and expediting recovery efforts.
