A bill to amend title II of the Social Security Act to increase to a minimum of $3,000 the amount of outside earnings which (subject to future cost-of-living adjustments) is permitted any individual each year without deductions from benefits thereunder, and to increase further the amount of the outside earnings so permitted (while decreasing the rate of the deductions made from earnings above such amount) in the case of individuals receiving less than the maximum provided for benefits of the type involved.
