A joint resolution to urge the President of the United States to invoke his authority under section 8 of the Fishermen's Protective Act of 1967 (commonly referred to as the Pell amendment) to ban the importation into the United States of fish products from nations whose citizens have conducted fishing operations in a manner which violates the provisions of the International Convention for the Regulation of Whaling.
