A concurrent resolution to direct the Commissioner of Social Security and the Secretary of Health and Human Services to immediately develop a plan outlining steps which can be taken to correct the social security benefits disparity known as the notch problem, in order to insure equitable and fair treatment for those who have based their retirement plans on benefit levels which have existed for the past decade.
